This is the most adorable fan, however, we have been so disappointed. The first one we bought had a light kit that did not work (the fan would come on and work, however, the light would not turn on; and no, it wasn’t just a bad lightbulb). Hunter gave us great customer service and sent us another fan at no charge, however, we found that with this fan, it smoked whenever it was placed on high speed. Very concerning considering that it is in the room of my three-year old son. This is the first negative experience that we have ever had with Hunter (and we have had MANY Hunter fans over the years). Perhaps it is just this model. Needless to say, we will be returning this fan and will look for other lighting/fan options.

My husband and I did a lot of research on “crapper fans” as my hubbie calls them. Most of the reviews pointed to this fan as the best, most effective, and most quiet of them. Despite the price - I admit I got the “oh geez” face when I understood we were paying more than $100 for a bathroom fan - we got one for each of our full baths. I can’t say enough that they are great!!! Whisper quiet is an understatement; really, you can’t tell that they are on. But most importantly, my husband can take his devilishly hot showers without fogging up the mirrors and causing any more steam damage to the paint. This is an excellent product. It’s completely worth the few extra dollars.

There is not much more to say about this fan beyond what I have indicated in the title of this review. Perhaps, however, a bit of elaboration is in order.
A comprehensive and easy to follow manual made the installation of this fan a breeze! The apartment in which we installed the fan was already wired for just such a device, so that was not a concern for us and I cannot address that issue except to say that the aforementioned manual does cover the topic of finding and preparing the right space for your fan. With a space already prepared for ours, it took us just under two hours to complete the actual assembly - including wiring and installation.
The fan, with three speed settings and reversible air flow, has kept us cool through the torrid Florida summer and remains quiet as a whisper as it delivers its soothing zephyrs.
The blades are reversible, offering a choice of basic white or faux oak.
No light fixtures here if that’s what you’re looking for. Just an efficient fan that has proved, for this user at least, a quality product.

This is a beautiful product. Very nice brushed stainless parts, and dark cherry finish on the blades. The fan is completely silent, and the speed and light control works perfectly. I recommend this fan for anyone looking for similar design.

We chose this for our media room because of its modern styling (and
my wife wanted to add an overhead light to the room.) The fan and remote
operate perfectly, no wobble, smooth, quiet, the best. The light is another matter. It’s one tiny 100w halogen bulb in a frosted glass dish.
The light output is meager at best, they should have put two bulbs
in there for it to have any real usefulness. (see customer images)
The light assembly is also not up to Casablanca’s usual high standard.
The globe/dish mounts into a cheesy stamped aluminum pan with a bayonet
type mount ( push in and twist to lock ) My assembly must have been on
the extremes of manufacturing size tolerances (large diameter globe,
small diameter aluminum pan) because it wouldn’t rotate and lock all the
way. When I tried to unlock it, the entire lamp pan assembly started
turning instead of just the globe.
It’s jammed in there, half locked, so I’m not worried about it falling out, but when the lamp finally blows I’ll have to remove the entire fan
assembly from its mount in the ceiling and take it to the service center
(which thankfully is in the next town) and pay to have them repair it.
I contacted customer service, and this isn’t covered under the warranty. So if you really need a room light with your fan, buy a more
traditional Casablanca design.

The fan itself looks just fine - exactly what you’d expect from a Hunter fan. The light cover is kinda ugly IMO. While the shape is nice, glass looks like it was spray painted to make it more opaque. Unattractive. My biggest objection, however, is the light output. This fixture only uses two candelabra bulbs, which come in 60 watts and less. In the evenings, I feel like I’m eating by candlelight, which is not the effect I desire. I’m disppointed. So much so that I am considering replacing this fan, which has only been installed for a couple of weeks.
