  I ordered the Hunter brand due to its reputation. I was not disappointed. The fan was easy to install and it is very quiet. It looks good whether running (no wobbling) or not.

  We have 4 other Hunter Ceiling Fans in our home and know that they are a good quality, quiet fan. We had trouble finding the antique brass finish this time, so we searched through Amazon and found the fan we wanted for our breakfast room at a cheaper price than through the stores. The new fan arrived within a week and was installed by the following weekend with no major problems. We have been enjoying it ever since.

  After doing some research for a ceiling fan for out newly remodeled home, I came across this model. For the price, you can’t beat the quality. It is super quiet, moves alot of air and looks great. The paddles are reversible to match your liking. I suggest using energy efficient (CFL) candelabra base bulbs instead of the regular bulbs it calls for, makes it look intresting plus saves on the $$ in the long run.

  It works well and gives our bedroom a romantic touch. We’re very pleased. We’ve only used the A/C in that room twice since buying the fan in June. (It’s now August.)

  I love this fan. This is my second Hunter fan, and I am as happy with this one as the first. SUPER quiet operation, even on high…..no vibration. Highly recommend

  I bought 2 of these fans - home depot carries them for $139 each so I bought them on amazon.

  They were installed today - look nice but they do not “hug” the ceiling. There is about a 1/4″ gap between the fan base and the ceiling which looks a little strange.

  I would advise if someone doesn’t want that gap to buy another brand.

  The Hunter Ceiling fan we ordered on Amazon is very quiet, good enough looking, and satisfactory all round.

  The only bad thing about this fan is I used the rubber grommets to mount the piece of metal that you screw into the ceiling. The grommets are supposed to reduce noise. However I now have about a ½ inch gap between the cover and the ceiling. It would look better if I didn’t use the grommets, though I don’t know if I’d be able to hear a vibration.

  This thing moves a lot of air.
  I bought a Hunter remote control kit from the big blue home improvement retailer. Works great.

  I also bought a light kit there too. 2 60 watt candelabras. Looks great and works great.
  The only sound you hear is the sound of the air. Even on high.

  I like this fan because it blends in with the ceiling and doesn’t look like a big ugly ceiling fan with stupid looking ugly lights on it. No “fake” wooden blades. No ugly brass. It’s about as “simple” as you can get, quiet as it could possibly be, and inexpensive. It is my opinion that ceiling fans should be “felt” and not seen or heard!
  We put this in a guest bedroom and it replaced a hideous looking LOUD “Hampton Bay” from Home Depot that was quite frankly shameful. lol
  My husband did not understand why I chose no lights on it until it was installed and he could see how much nicer the room looked just with lamp lighting and no ugly fan lights.

  Very good ceiling fan at a great price. Low profile, easy to assemble. Hard to beat.

  The Royal Oak 60 inch fan is so quite you will hardly note that it is running. Unilke my previous fans where you hear a rhythm of off and on, you hear nothing from the motor with the Royal Oak. Only on the high setting you will hear the fan blades. I used a 60 inch down rod and their is no vibration. The installer was amazed at the fans balance. The fan moves a high volume of air.

  I just installed 2 Hunter 23688 Royal Oak 60-inch New Bronze fans in my living and family room which both are 2-story (15′) ceilings. I used a 48″ downrod on both and each runs very quiet without any vibration. The remotes can be set at different frequencies so you will not have a problem with both fans being controlled by one remote. The down draft is very good and I have yet to use the high setting since the mid-range is enough. I have Hunter fans in all of the bedrooms (4) and I am very satisfied with the product and would gladly recommend them. Also, the price on Amazon was about $80 cheaper than the price at my local electrical store.

  This fan is very quiet. It has been doing a great job cooling off our very large family room.

  Really nice looking fan that works great. Absolutely quiet and remote control works great. Perfect for a large room. Really moves some air on the high setting. I installed it on a high vaulted ceiling with a 24″ down rod. Looks really sharp. I would recommend this fan.

  Purchased two of these fans for two large rooms. They look good and move the air very efficiently, especially at low speeds. They are very quiet. So far, the remote controllers work well, but the fans cannot be reversed using the controllers.

  Purchased two Hunter 25517 Summer Breeze ceiling fans as replacements for existing fans in the master bedroom and living room. The first fan installed was in the bedroom. It went together exactly according to the instructions and upon completion operated flawlessly. The second fan was a different story. Assembing the fan and hanging it from the ceiling went perfect. When installing the control mechanism to the fan I discovered the securing mounting holes had not been threaded. This was after I broke off a 6-32 screw in the mounting disk. From there, the install became very interesting and challenging! I am very disappointed in the quality control of this fan and hope it is not reflective in other Hunter products!
