  This is a nice looking, well made fan. I was concerned about buying this, or any other fan, because I have a sloped ceiling (only 1.5″ in 12″) and I couldn’t tell from specs whether this would mount with the short down-rod (supplied) properly on a pitched ceiling. I wanted to use the short downrod due to limited ceiling height. No problem - the fan mounted fine with the short rod. It is quiet & moves air well - I am using in a 3 season porch 12×20.

  This might be a great fan if I could ever have gotten it properly assembled. Since it is UL “wet” rated, there is a lot of rubber gasketing in and around the points of assembly. The problem is that the screws provided are too short to accomodate the extra thickness of the rubber gasketing when making the assembly. This will be returned for a refund.

  After doing some research for a ceiling fan for out newly remodeled home, I came across this model. For the price, you can’t beat the quality. It is super quiet, moves alot of air and looks great. The paddles are reversible to match your liking. I suggest using energy efficient (CFL) candelabra base bulbs instead of the regular bulbs it calls for, makes it look intresting plus saves on the $$ in the long run.

  We have 4 other Hunter Ceiling Fans in our home and know that they are a good quality, quiet fan. We had trouble finding the antique brass finish this time, so we searched through Amazon and found the fan we wanted for our breakfast room at a cheaper price than through the stores. The new fan arrived within a week and was installed by the following weekend with no major problems. We have been enjoying it ever since.

  It works well and gives our bedroom a romantic touch. We’re very pleased. We’ve only used the A/C in that room twice since buying the fan in June. (It’s now August.)

  I ordered the Hunter brand due to its reputation. I was not disappointed. The fan was easy to install and it is very quiet. It looks good whether running (no wobbling) or not.

  Was refurbished and had nothing but problems, however the Hunter Fan Co. was great about making things right.

  Easy to install, has white on one side of the blades and a honey-oak appearing finish to the other. I purchased with the remote, so we can turn fan on/off or change speeds and turn off lights from bed. Easy to use!

  There is not much more to say about this fan beyond what I have indicated in the title of this review. Perhaps, however, a bit of elaboration is in order.

  A comprehensive and easy to follow manual made the installation of this fan a breeze! The apartment in which we installed the fan was already wired for just such a device, so that was not a concern for us and I cannot address that issue except to say that the aforementioned manual does cover the topic of finding and preparing the right space for your fan. With a space already prepared for ours, it took us just under two hours to complete the actual assembly - including wiring and installation.

  The fan, with three speed settings and reversible air flow, has kept us cool through the torrid Florida summer and remains quiet as a whisper as it delivers its soothing zephyrs.

  The blades are reversible, offering a choice of basic white or faux oak.

  No light fixtures here if that’s what you’re looking for. Just an efficient fan that has proved, for this user at least, a quality product.

  This came to us quickly, product was perfect for our lower ceilings (8ft) so still had headroom. (I’m 2m high).
  Very quiet, like the 3 speed levels. Will buy here again.

  I only buy Hunter ceiling fans. They are well-made, provide several hanging options and are very quite. Hunter also provides excellent customer service.

  I bought the Hunter Summer Breeze to install over my bed in place of the trustworthy Hunter Original I have used since 1981. The Summer Breeze is so quiet and smooth that I hear many sounds at night that had been masked by the pulsing sound emitted by the Original.High speed is just enough slower than the Hunter Original that it does not dry out my nose and throat as the old one did. This has to be either the quietest and smoothest fan on the market or one of the very best. I will gladly recommend this fan to anyone looking for those qualities as well as a beautifully finished piece of equipment.

  Had our first hot day yesterday and was much more comfortable due to this fan. Perfect fit for a fairly small living room. Very impressed that it is so quiet. No problems w/shipping and item was new in original manuf box. Also, I purchased this item when it was priced much lower.

  I have been buying Hunter fans for over 45 years. It’s a great product, very quiet and does a fine job. The only problem was that a few screws were missing and I had to use some from my own for the connections. I would also have preferred if I was able to register the product online instead of mailing my warranty.

  I thought it was a good deal and arrived in great shape. I was worried about things being broken in transit - but the fan arrived in perfect condition.
